SIKO Trans joins UNICEF's* regular corporate donation program "Company BENEFICIARY", silver category. Fully supporting UNICEF's mission to protect children's rights and in its desire to make the life of every child in Bulgaria better, SIKO is committed to donating 1 euro from every transport assigned to the company.
SIKO's commitment to UNICEF's mission is also related to the dissemination of information about the company's partnership with the world leader in the defense of children's rights among all SIKO customers, suppliers and partners and the open invitation to join the "Company BENEFICIARY" program with a monthly donation.
Within 2023, the company also plans a series of training seminars for its employees regarding the joint initiative of SIKO and UNICEF, as well as the provision of informational materials on the topic of children's rights and parenting.
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, which SIKO celebrates throughout 2023, the company will also organize two internal charity events - a "Ready for School!" bazaar and a Christmas campaign, the main goal of which will be to support the children of Bulgaria in two of the most exciting times of the year for them - the first day of school and Christmas.
The "Company BENEFICIARY" program aims to provide financing for large-scale and sustainable projects for the benefit of children and to enable the organizations included in it to derive real business benefits related to higher sales, improved corporate image, loyalty and motivation of employees, partners and customers.
UNICEF's activities in Bulgaria cover a number of areas such as: Early childhood development, Inclusive education, Support for vulnerable children and families, Protection from violence, Mental health among young people (14-24 years old), Aid in disasters and humanitarian crises, as well as many other.
Together with national and local authorities, UN structures, EU institutions, non-governmental organisations, the media and its corporate partners, UNICEF invests in and supports various programs and models of services for children and families in Bulgaria with an emphasis on the most vulnerable - children at risk of poverty and social exclusion, children with disabilities, children at risk of abandonment, victims of violence, children without access to education, children in contact with the law, refugee children and unaccompanied children.
UNICEF is funded entirely by the voluntary donations of individuals, companies, foundations and governments.
