Students from the "Transport Technology and Management", "Transport Engineering and Technologies" and "Operation and Management of the Fleet and Ports" majors of the University of Ruse met with the executive director of SIKO Trans Kolyo Doynov and the manager of the "Human Resources and Administration" department in the company, Tsvetelina Kirilova.
At the seminar, the opportunities for internship, work and career development of the students were presented and discussed, as well as future projects of the "Transport" department of the University of Ruse and SIKO Trans for the active participation of the forwarding industry in the training.
Mr. Doynov and Mrs. Kirilova presented the profile of the company and answered questions about the specifics of the activity, requirements for personnel and candidates for various positions in the company.
Two graduates of the "Transportation Technology and Management" major at the University of Ruse who now works at SIKO Trans talked about their career development. They shared interesting case studies they had to solve early in their careers and how they used the knowledge and skills they acquired at university.
During the seminar, a quiz was also organized in which the students had to answer questions from the field of forwarding, which they study in different disciplines. Some of the participants in the meeting also received their first job offers.
After the meeting with the students, the representatives of SIKO Trans spoke with the vice-rector Prof. Plamen Daskalov, with the head of the Career Center at the University of Ruse Prof. Ivan Evstatiev and with the head of the "Transport" department Assoc. Asen Asenov.
